About The Position

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking an Accounting Clerk in the Corporate Office location to assist the team with Accounts Payable processes. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of Accounts Payable or similar accounting work is required
Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation
Strong computer skills
Past work experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Self-starter with strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Communication, over the phone, in person, and written, is required

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with accounting software is strongly preferred
Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
College coursework in Accounting is a plus

Responsibilities

Sorts incoming mail/invoices in preparation for coding and submits to Accounts Payable Manager for review
Matches contracted prices and Purchase Orders (PO) to invoices
Scans and inputs invoice into accounting system
Supports and backs up Accounts Payable Manager with weekly check processing
Reconciles Daily Cash (Co-Pay) Deposits
Makes weekly bank deposits as needed
Records activity for AMI related companies
Performs other duties as assigned
