CLA is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) Construction industry team in Minneapolis, MN. Requirements
- Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree is required. A combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Responsibilities
- Handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
- Complete financial statements.
- Coordinate and complete account reconciliations (e.g., bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals).
- Complete complex account reconciliations previously set up and supported by senior staff.
- Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other client-requested forms.
