CLA is seeking an Associate to join its CAAS (Retail Industry) team. The role involves handling client accounts, processing daily transactions, month-end closing, and quarterly/annual processing such as sales tax returns and Form 1099s. Requirements

Bachelor's degree is required.
Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Nice To Haves

Accounting and financial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
Complete financial statements.
Coordinate and complete account reconciliations, including bank and credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.
Complete complex account reconciliations previously set up and supported by Senior Associate, Assistant Controller, Controller, or CFO.
Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other forms or items as requested by clients.
