About The Position

The Accounting Associate for HENDERSON FAMILY ENTERPRISES will provide support to Henderson Implement & Marine, the leading dealer of boats, tractors, and offroad vehicles in Lake Charles, and Henderson Wholesale, a multi-state distributor of Hunt Brothers Pizza. Requirements

• Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
• Able to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process Financial Data in Accounting Systems
• Process Bank Transactions
• Process Inventory Transfers and Sales Batches
• Process Equipment Unit Sales
• Organize and Maintain Financial Records and Files
• Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet & Income Statement Accounts
• Support Month-end and Year-end Closing processes
• Cross-train with other Associates to assist when someone is out of the office
• Provide General and Administrative Support to the Accounting Team
