About The Position

We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our team at New Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As an Accounting Associate, you will assist the Accounting Department with all accounting functions. These functions will include, but not be limited to, establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures, overseeing the preparation and evaluation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial operating reports and presenting findings and recommendations to Senior Management. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.
  • Must have solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be highly analytical, can think creatively, and understand complex business dynamics.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • A strong understanding of financial concepts, such as accruals and deferred revenue.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and work well as a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Available to work non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)
