Requirements

1-4 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Entry-level accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and posting journal entries under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
Perform basic account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Enter financial data into accounting software accurately.
Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
Support month-end and year-end close by preparing schedules and maintaining documentation.
Maintain accurate financial records and organize supporting documentation.
Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets for management.
Help identify and resolve routine accounting issues.
Perform general administrative duties to support the finance team.
