About The Position

Performs functions in support of the Accounting Department. The primary function is to provide clerical support to the Property Controller, Revenue Audit, Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger and Purchasing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1-2 years office experience, accounting experience preferred or combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.
  • Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.

Nice To Haves

  • Retail, Payroll, or Accounts Payable experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assists accounting staff in the daily operations as required.
  • Assists Payroll staff as required. Responsibilities include but not limited to maintaining payroll information, processing and distributing payments, and addressing payroll-related issues.
  • Assists Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable staff as required.
  • Assists General Ledger staff as required.
  • Ensures and maintains confidentiality.
  • Assists with filing, data entry and special projects as assigned.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
