Requirements

  • Foundational accounting knowledge or strong interest in accounting/finance.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
  • Clear, professional communication—both phone and email.
  • Strong soft skills: professionalism, reliability, and customer‑focused mindset.
  • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfort working in a role that includes collections and credit activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in accounting, finance, or business (or any accounting & finance related internship/experience)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Interest in building a career in accounting, credit, or collections.
  • Willingness to work onsite five days per week initially.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily collections and credit activities to manage outstanding customer balances.
  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including updating and tracking customer payment information.
  • Contact customers by phone and email to follow up on payments and resolve billing questions.
  • Partner with sales and customer service teams to coordinate account‑related information.
  • Perform accurate data entry of financial and customer information.
  • Stay organized while managing multiple accounts, tasks, and follow‑ups.
  • Document customer interactions and next steps clearly.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and credit teams to support department goals.
