About The Position

Join General ThermoDynamics, an API Heat Transfer Company, and become a valued member of our Finance team. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support the financial operations of our Franklin manufacturing facility. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to multiple areas of accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, and operational finance while working alongside experienced finance professionals.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience working with ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Maintain financial records and accounting documentation.
• Support inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Prepare recurring reports and spreadsheets.
• Assist with freight and tariff tracking activities.
• Support revenue recognition reporting and audit preparation.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
