Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
One to two years of payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or related office experience preferred
Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience working with ERP or accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) experience is a plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in Accounting or enrollment in an accounting program preferred

Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll and maintain payroll records
Review and resolve missing or inaccurate timecard information
Process payroll deductions, garnishments, tax withholdings, and employee changes
Respond to payroll questions and employment verification requests
Process weekly customer invoices and resolve billing discrepancies
Apply daily cash receipts and research unapplied payments
Assist with customer collections on outstanding invoices
Reconcile staffing vendor invoices
Prepare reports and maintain accurate financial records
Protect confidential payroll and financial information
Support the Finance Department with additional accounting projects as assigned
