About The Position

This is a temporary, part-time internship working 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in shift start times. The opportunity is open to undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Accounting or Finance and is located in Arizona. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program or have graduated within the last six months.

The internship typically lasts up to one year. Under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee, the intern expands their experience and knowledge of practices and procedures related to the assigned department and area of study. The position may involve participation in a wide variety of projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college program with coursework related to the internship, or general knowledge normally obtained through completion of a college degree.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have general knowledge related to the department, unit, or area of study.
• Applicants must be located within Arizona.
• Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program or be a recent graduate within the last six months.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers may be necessary, depending on assignment.
• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge through exposure to a variety of roles related to the area of study.
• Participate on work teams and contribute to projects and initiatives.
• Perform tasks as needed by the assigned unit or department.
• Research assigned topics or projects and prepare reports when required.
• Work as a team member providing service to internal and external customers.
