Accounting Analyst [2027 EDGE Program]
About The Position
As an Accounting Analyst in DTCC's Financial Reporting & Accounting (FR&A) organization, you will help support accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting activities that enable accurate financial information across the enterprise. This team advises on accounting treatment for complex transactions and supports the preparation of financial reports used by management, regulators, and other stakeholders. At DTCC, we help power the global financial markets by providing critical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient processing of securities transactions. In this role, you will learn how your business area contributes to that broader mission while building practical skills through meaningful work, coaching, and structured development. EDGE is DTCC’s 18-month early-career development program for recent graduates. The program combines hands-on business experience, structured learning, mentorship, networking, and regular feedback to help analysts build technical, functional, and leadership capabilities.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date: May 2027
- Minimum GPA: 3.2
- Authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Analyze financial activity and support accounting processes used to maintain accurate books and records.
- Assist with monthly close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, schedules, workpapers, and documentation used for management and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other business partners to gather information, investigate issues, and support reporting deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, documentation, and operational effectiveness.
