About The Position

This role focuses on financial reporting, accounting transformation, process improvement, data governance, and risk management. The Accounting Analyst will assist in preparing financial statements, supporting financial analysis, maintaining reporting dashboards, and driving process improvements within the accounting and reporting functions. A key aspect of the role involves working with ERP systems and various reporting tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls.

Requirements

  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel user
  • PowerBI, Fabric, Power Query, Asana, Power Automate etc.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, interpret results, and communicate implications.
  • Proficiency in identifying cost drivers, variances, and risks across multiple business units.
  • Advanced knowledge of Dynamics, Yardi, Solver and Document Centers for data automation and reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage large data sets effectively.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to evaluate workflows, identify risk points, and implement structured improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing divisional financial statements and management reports.
  • Support financial analysis and reporting for Finance and Operational teams.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and business intelligence reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support process transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, standardization, and controls.
  • Assist with ERP enhancements, testing, and system implementations.
  • Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, Power Query solutions, Lakehouse datasets, and reporting tools.
  • Contribute to project and job setup activities within the ERP system.
  • Assist in improving accounting and reporting processes.
  • Support the standardization of cost codes and reporting structures.
  • Maintain process documentation and procedures.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks.
  • Maintain risk and control documentation for accounting processes.
  • Support reviews of internal controls and reporting processes.
  • Assist with compliance to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in cost code reviews and standardization initiatives.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial and variance reports for all core divisions.
  • Enhance and maintain tools and systems that support financial reporting and automation.
  • Identify operational risks and support risk mitigation through structured analysis and reporting.
