About The Position

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounting Analyst for a Contract to Hire position in Honolulu, HI. This role involves preparing detailed financial reports, performing account reconciliations, managing general ledgers, handling complex financial transactions, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting audits. The position also focuses on identifying and fixing accounting errors and recommending process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction. This is a fully onsite position.

Requirements

• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in account reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and audit support.
• Ability to identify and resolve accounting errors.
• Strong recommendation skills for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, to support management decisions.
• Perform account reconciliations, manage general ledgers, and handle complex financial transactions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking financial performance against goals.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support internal/external audits.
• Identify and fix accounting errors, and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
