As an Accounting Analyst Sr within PNC's Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA and play a key role on the Loan Accounting team. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. Maintains financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards. Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use. Completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities including the preparation of journal entries and appropriate audit work papers, and the reconciliation of accounts for such activities. These activities may relate to bank accounting, loans and investments, deposits, and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities. Creates and utilizes automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of financial results. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly financial and data analysis
  • Monthly reconciliations from subledger to general ledger
  • Monthly journal entries
  • Monthly/quarterly reporting including providing direct support for Regulatory and SEC filings
  • Complete ad hoc analyses and requests as needed
  • Contribute to automation and process improvement efforts
  • Lead and participate in various projects and initiatives
