About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an Accounting Analyst I opening for our client. This role requires the individual to support the general ledger close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting. The analyst will review accounting transactions, research account variances, and prepare accounting reports and work papers. Additionally, the role involves assisting with process improvements, system changes, testing, and portfolio integrations, while ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulations, and internal controls. The position also supports accounting projects and requires collaboration with business partners and auditors. The role operates independently under general supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or 4 years of combined education/work experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Excel/spreadsheet proficiency.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
