About The Position

You will provide critical accounting support to cover a leave of absence and ensure month- and quarter-end close activities run smoothly. You will partner with finance teams across JAPAC and EMEA and support US corporate accounting stakeholders, working onsite in San Jose. Your work will improve the accuracy of compensation accounting and drive efficiencies through automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 6-9 years of accounting experience
• Proven experience in accounting and solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP and BlackLine
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation applications
• PowerPoint, Tableau, or Power BI experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP and support GL transactional activities for JAPAC and EMEA
• Prepare and upload account reconciliations in AssureNet and perform monthly reviews of accruals and prepaid expenses
• Prepare monthly accruals worksheets, cash forecasts, and provide flux analysis commentary for compensation accruals and expenses
• Participate in month- and quarter-end close tasks, focusing on compensation accounting (payroll, PTO, fringe benefits, bonuses, relocation, commissions, etc.) in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Assist with manual clearing of payroll-related bank transactions and perform UAT on system-driven GL coding
• Support quarterly and annual audits and respond to ad hoc queries and finance requests
• Leverage AI and automation tools to optimize reconciliation processes and reduce recurring reconciling items
