About The Position

You’ll be joining Adobe on a contract opportunity, employed through NextDeavor. This is an Onsite role in San Jose, CA with a defined contract period (start 06/01/2026 to 01/17/2027). You will help maintain accurate GL transactional activity and support month- and quarter-end close processes to ensure reliable financial reporting for international regions. You will partner with finance teams, payroll, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve reconciling items and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 6–9 years of accounting experience with proven accounting work experience and solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience identifying inefficiencies and leveraging AI or other technologies to streamline routine processes
• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented, structured problem-solver with strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP and BlackLine
• Familiarity with PowerPoint, Tableau, or Power BI

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP and support general ledger transactional activities for JAPAC and EMEA regions
• Prepare and upload account reconciliations in AssureNet (BlackLine) and perform monthly reviews of accruals and prepaid expenses
• Participate in month- and quarter-end close activities focused on compensation accounting (payroll, PTO, fringe benefits, bonuses, relocation, commissions, etc.) in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Prepare monthly accrual worksheets and cash forecasts; provide flux analysis commentary for compensation accruals and expenses
• Assist with manual clearing of payroll-related bank transactions and perform UAT over system-driven GL coding
• Support quarterly and annual audits and provide accurate accounting information for decision making
• Leverage AI and automation tools to optimize reconciliation processes and reduce manual effort
• Handle ad hoc projects and respond to internal stakeholder queries
