Accounting Advisory Services Intern
About The Position
Applications for Weaver’s Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) Internships are open! Our AAS Interns will be responsible for helping perform outsourced accounting assignments for clients. Our internships are part-time or full-time during the Spring semester. What you can expect from us: Hands-on client work, either from the Weaver office or the client’s office Exposure to multiple clients throughout the internship as well as multiple different sections of the financial statements A warm and inclusive culture that encourages employees to bring their whole selves to work Teams that are committed to providing unmatched service to our clients
Requirements
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field with the goal to obtain the hours necessary to sit for the CPA exam
- Ability to commit 20-40 hours per week to the internship from January through April
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Positive attitude and a growth mindset

Benefits
- Hourly rate: $35.00 - $37.00/hour
