About The Position

We are seeking an Accounting Administrator to support various aspects of the business, including administrative and office operations, client service activities, and special projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, contributing to the success of both the team and our clients, and growing within a dynamic and team-oriented firm. This entry-level accounting support role operates in a fast-paced, multi-client nonprofit environment and focuses on accounts payable processing, basic bookkeeping, and QuickBooks Online work. You will support a high-performing senior accountant while managing day-to-day transactional accounting tasks for multiple nonprofit and church clients. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to switch between tasks and clients quickly, and a solid foundation in basic accounting principles.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in accounting, finance, economics, other other related field
  • 2+ years of experience in office and administrative duties
  • 1+ year of experience in general accounting duties

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with marketing, technology, and integration preferred
  • Previous experience with QuickBooks Online preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general bookkeeping and transaction classification to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across multiple client accounts and entities simultaneously.
  • Assist with light reconciliations and basic financial reporting as directed by senior accounting staff.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of accounting workflows and technology tools.
  • Communicate proactively with internal team members and client contacts to provide updates and clarify information.
  • Follow up on outstanding items with clients and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track time and manage workload using time tracking or task-based systems.
  • Identify issues or discrepancies, research potential solutions, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain organized records, task lists, and documentation to keep business operations running smoothly.
  • Balance a casual internal culture with professional, client-facing communication at all times.
  • Special projects as needed.
