About The Position

This role involves applying expertise in financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights that support informed business decisions. The accountant will drive informed and timely decision-making that improves and optimizes how financial processes are managed, closed, and reported. Collaboration with finance managers, controllers, auditors, and cross-functional business teams is a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Expertise using accounting principles and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Ability to prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to assess the performance of the business.
• Ability to build reports, schedules, and reconciliations to clearly communicate financial results.
• Ability to collaborate with auditors, finance leadership, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ability to initiate and drive projects (month-end close, audits, process improvements) to completion with minimal guidance.
• An understanding of GAAP and strong financial acumen relevant to the business.
• BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
• 3+ years of experience with spreadsheet/financial modeling tools such as Excel.
• 3+ years of experience applying accounting standards, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close processes.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA.
• Experience in an accounting role at a technology or high-growth company.
• Experience using automation or data tools to streamline reporting, close processes, or audit workflows.
