About The Position

Goodhouse is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation, be comfortable working in a multi-entity environment, and be eager to grow with a fast-moving company. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience working across multiple entities or in a multi-company environment is expected.
Familiarity with month-end close processes and account reconciliation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

AR/AP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate accounting support across multiple entities.
Contribute to financial statement compilations and support internal and external reporting requirements.
Prepare financial, accounting, and administrative reports and analyses as needed.
Perform routine and complex account reconciliations (P&L and Balance Sheet), including bank accounts, debt agreements, and revenue/expense items.
Maintain accuracy across multiple ERPs and operating modules to ensure consistent financial reporting.
Execute assigned month-end close procedures accurately and on schedule.
Provide required documentation to support annual financial statement reviews and audits.
Assist in managing fixed asset accounting across entities.
Process vendor payments and support AP/AR workflows with proper documentation.
Support accurate and timely AR collections and AP disbursements across entities.
