Your responsibilities will include payroll processing, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and mange payroll submission for offsite processing, payroll reconciliations and related tasks,
  • Assisting in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries, accruals, and adjustments accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances in account balances, collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Review and analyze aging reports, follow up on overdue invoices, and communicate with customers and vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with payment terms, credit policies, and internal controls related to accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including sales tax, use tax, and corporate income tax returns.
  • Maintain tax records and documentation, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of required filings.
