About The Position

The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for performing general ledger and accounting close activities, as well as executing the global Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) testing plan, with the goal of closing the books and reporting financial results in a timely and accurate manner. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Global Consolidations and North America Accounting and is part of the Finance and Accounting Organization located in Brea, CA and will be onsite. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Manage multiple general ledger accounts, including accruals, and general closing activities Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and support accurate financial close processes Collaborate with various departments globally to obtain and review supporting documents and processes for Sox audits. Identify, recommend, and actively participate in business process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field with 2+ years experience OR Masters degree in field with 0-2 years experience
  • General accounting experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements, including documentation, testing, and evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR)
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and meet established project deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • General Leger and/or public accounting experience from Big4 or mid-tier firm
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Working experience with accounting using Oracle, MS Office
