About The Position

We are seeking an Accountant to join our Dairy Nutrition Accounting & Control team in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role provides broad exposure to accounting, financial reporting, milk payroll & accounting, credit risk support, and business partnering within one of the largest dairy processing operations in North America. The position will work closely with Accounting, Finance, Credit Risk, Milk Procurement, and Operations teams to support critical business processes, maintain financial controls, and ensure accurate reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to develop expertise in a complex manufacturing and agricultural environment while working alongside experienced finance and accounting leaders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and perform detailed financial analysis.
Experience working within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial transactions accurately.

Nice To Haves

CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation.
CMA certification.
Experience within manufacturing, food production, dairy, agriculture, or other complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, adjustments, and control pack preparation.
Monitor GRIR, blocked invoices, leasing activity, inventory reporting, capitalization-in-progress balances, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare reports and analysis to support the credit risk review process and credit governance activities.
Assist with customer credit setup by partnering with sales managers and gathering supporting business case information.
Partner with Milk Procurement teams on Milk Accounting and Milk Payroll processes.
Support accounting activities related to Glanbia Cheese Marketplace.
Prepare ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, trending, and participate in special projects as needed.
