About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the Corporate Controller and the Assistant Controller with the financial affairs of the organization and with preparation of financial analyses of operations, including interim and financial statements.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in corporate accounting required
• Technical knowledge of Tax, GAAP and Cost Accounting Required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Superior computer skills
• Ability to travel on a quarterly basis required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Great Plains, Micros and Yellow Dog a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including account review and collections
• Serve as backup for Accounts Payable, including invoice entry and processing payments (ACH and bank drafts)
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts for Greenwood Communities & Resorts and Greenwood Development
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Complete general ledger reconciliations
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations for multiple retail locations
• Assist with annual audit preparation
• Perform other duties as assigned
