About The Position

OneMain Financial is hiring a Staff Accountant to support the OneMain Solutions Investment accounting and finance organization in Fort Worth, Texas. The role is responsible for reconciliations, journal entries, and the analysis and research of accounts and balances. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and/or equivalent business or accounting experience.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting and GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Investment experience.
• Knowledge of investment statutory accounting.
• Experience with Clearwater Analytics and OneStream.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger and custody account reconciliations.
• Research and analyze account balances and transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Provide support for SOX, statutory, and SEC reporting.
• Review investment transactions.
• Participate in ad hoc investment projects as needed.
