About The Position

Ensure timely and accurate preparation and reporting of accounting information to management, investors, and regulatory bodies. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly entries, financial statements and respond to regulatory data request, cost of service studies and associated data requests. Reconcile account balances to the general ledger. Monitor accounting information and system of internal controls to ensure the Company's accounting practices comply with GAAP, company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned areas that includes resolution of accounting control & process issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and oral
• Written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products - especially Excel spreadsheets
• Knowledge of accounting theory
• Exhibit behaviors consistent with the Our Values and PCL
• Be willing to work in a team environment
• Display initiative and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple task assignments with overlapping deadlines is required
• Take responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and timely completion of assignments required
