About The Position
This position provides support to activities within the Finance department, month-end close processes, monthly accrual and prepaid calculations, balance sheet review, various operational expense reporting, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. The company is the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and is constantly optimizing its products to make the food supply cycle more sustainable by improving safety for food transport, reducing food waste, and increasing product lifespan. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of previous accountant-level experience required
- Strong process review and documentation background
- Previous experience working in a corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency with Excel required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and constraints
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Flexible and resourceful
- Computer literacy required, including proficiency in standard business applications included in the Microsoft Office Suite

- Proficiency with SAP strongly desired
Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and communication of the monthly freight expense review.
- Build strong review and actual per-unit trend reporting.
- Analyze and communicate monthly operational expense reporting.
- Aid in pool reporting as backup on monthly reporting, contractual matters, and annual reconciliation.
- Prepare and report on quarterly and semi-annual intercompany transactions in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Assist service centers with expense review, accruals, and other reporting.
- Review internal processes to ensure financial/reporting accuracy and integrity.
- Review and monitor monthly balance sheet reconciliations, track outstanding items, and lead monthly balance sheet reviews.
- Assist in preparation and reporting for the year-end financial audit.
- Assisting in other Finance department activities.
