About The Position
The Accountant is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of daily cash and other account reconciliations for assigned general ledgers of affiliated health system entities. The role also supports financial reporting and financial reporting management, and prepares financial reports, journal entries, supporting workpapers, and analytical reviews.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting is required.
- Proficiency with electronic spreadsheets, graphics, word processing, and general ledger systems.
- Ability to use office equipment, including a personal computer, fax, copier, and other office machines.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience with general accounting, computerized information systems, and electronic spreadsheet computer applications is preferred.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
