About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant - محاسب to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the smooth financial operations of our luxury hotel. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks, or Opera).
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry financial operations and terminology.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is required (written and spoken).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a professional finance team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all hotel departments.
  • Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with senior finance staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Support the audit process by providing documentation and financial data as required.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor spending and control costs.
  • Utilize hotel accounting software (e.g., Oracle Hospitality, Opera) to manage financial data efficiently.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Supervisor.
