Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
Experience in Microsoft Excel, including, but not limited to pivot tables, data analysis, and VLOOKUP formula.

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction accounting.
CPA or CMA license (earned or in progress).

Responsibilities

Perform general journal entries, ensuring accuracy of data.
Reconciling accounts such as cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and inventory.
Run income statements, balance sheets and other subsidiary ledgers to verify reconciliation and identify potential issues.
Lead monthly close and prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial variance analysis.
Perform Financial Planning and Analysis reporting, provide additional assistance as needed.
Assist financial support teams and operations.
Assist with internal and external audit procedures.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
