Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, including, but not limited to pivot tables, data analysis, and VLOOKUP formula.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction accounting.
  • CPA or CMA license (earned or in progress).

Responsibilities

  • Perform general journal entries, ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Reconciling accounts such as cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and inventory.
  • Run income statements, balance sheets and other subsidiary ledgers to verify reconciliation and identify potential issues.
  • Lead monthly close and prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial variance analysis.
  • Perform Financial Planning and Analysis reporting, provide additional assistance as needed.
  • Assist financial support teams and operations.
  • Assist with internal and external audit procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
