About The Position

We're Agility, a Content Management System (CMS) built for performance, freedom, and scale. We empower developers to build without technical blockers and give marketers the tools to move faster. We are looking for a sharp, self-driven accounting professional to own our day-to-day financial operations. You'll work closely with the Director of Finance to understand our financial strategy and execute on it. You're contributing not just to the numbers, but to the overall health and direction of the business. This isn't a narrow, task-list role. You'll have real visibility and real impact.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, full-cycle accounting, or a similar role
  • Solid working knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and SharePoint
  • Experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation, and maintaining organized books
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Strong communicator who's eager to grow and contribute beyond the job description
  • Energized by fast-paced, innovative environments where no two days look the same

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with B2B or SaaS company environments is a strong plus
  • Experience with customer billing platforms (HubSpot, Maxio/Chargify, ChargeBee) is an asset
  • Pursuing or holding a professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is an asset
  • Experience with AI tools in a finance or accounting context is a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries
  • Maintaining deferred revenue, prepaids, accruals, and depreciation worksheets
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Assist with travel bookings, procurement, and office administration
  • Support HR-related tasks including hardware asset tracking and benefits administration
  • Manage forms and documentation for grant programs, templates, and other projects
  • Provide general administrative support across the team as needed
