About The Position

IFAB Corp. is a tier one metal fabricator hiring a Staff Accountant. This role is for someone fluent in modern ERP and serious about Excel, who wants to build a career inside a manufacturing finance function. The position is fully onsite in South Gastonia, NC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years of experience in the industry, with a strong preference for manufacturing experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP fundamentals and the ability to defend reconciliations.
• Experience with modern cloud ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or comparable systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, including Power Query for imports, Power Pivot or PivotTables for multi-table analysis, and functions like XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH.
• Ability to build clean, reusable models in Excel.
• Experience with documented, organized, and audit-ready processes.

Nice To Haves

• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience with ERP-to-BI data flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger functions including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets in accordance with GAAP.
• Process AP/AR, including invoice processing, payments, collections, and managing vendor and customer master data.
• Execute monthly close procedures, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, P&L preparation, and trial balance management.
• Engage in manufacturing cost accounting, including variance analysis, cycle count reconciliation, and inventory valuation across four sites.
• Handle sales and use tax filings, provide audit support, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
