About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions within the Food Service Department. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and departmental policies. The accountant will support the financial operations of the department, contributing to accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a school district or public sector environment.
• Experience with governmental accounting standards.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
