About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring an entry-level Accountant for its Business Management team in Midvale, Utah. The position pays $60,000 per year and is based at 7144 S. State St., Midvale, UT 84047. The role is designed to develop employees toward leadership positions in accounting and finance, including the opportunity to become a Business Manager responsible for a financial operation.

The Accountant gains practical training in business and financial management, accounting procedures and principles, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statement preparation and analysis. The development program involves working with sales and marketing, human resources, procurement, and other functions to support customer service, growth strategies, operating efficiency, and profitability. As business knowledge and decision-making skills develop, the employee may progress to a supervisory role. Advancement is performance-based, and the pace of progression depends on the employee.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; college students within two semesters of graduation with a degree in Accounting or Finance will also be considered.
• Plan to attain CPA within 1–2 years.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related driving convictions (DUI/DWI) within the past five years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work-authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply basic accounting procedures and principles, including accounts payable and receivable systems.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Participate in a development program covering business and financial management.
• Work with sales and marketing, human resources, procurement, and other functions to support customer service, growth strategies, operating efficiencies, and profitability.
• Develop business knowledge and decision-making skills in preparation for potential leadership and supervisory responsibilities.
