Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
Minimum three (3) or more years of accounting experience
Experience with journal entries, and balance sheets reconciliations required
Strong Excel knowledge required
Must possess excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of major accounting software packages.
Must have knowledge of, and be able to apply, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.
Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees and others outside of the organization.

Responsibilities

Assists with month-end and year-end close for all corporate entities
Uploads reoccurring, accruals, and other adjusting journal entries to General Ledger
Reconciles daily corporate bank activity accurately and timely
Prepares monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including cash
Assists with inter-company monthly billing
Resolves account discrepancies by researching and communicating effectively amongst internal departments
Assists with internal and external auditors as needed
Required to maintain functions in accordance with finance policies and practices, GAAP, FASB and other internal control standards
Keeps current any departmental check list or procedures
Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times and maintains high morale.
Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock.
