Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an accounting/business-related field
  • Minimum of one year of employment in an accounting/business environment

Responsibilities

  • Monthly and year end closing including: Fixed Asset close and reconciliations, Closing of Accounts Payable, Prepaid Expenses, Monthly Accruals, Reconciliation of assigned accounts
  • Monthly assigned CMC journal entries
  • Fixed asset field reconciliations - working with directors to eliminate fixed assets that are no longer in use.
  • Maintenance of financial accounting system (Insights)
  • Setting up new users
  • Password resets
  • Review and Maintenance of background schedules
  • Setting up new cost centers
  • Acct. Receivables - Non-patient related billings of services and goods sold/utilized by related parties and non-related third parties
  • Preparation of work papers and analysis for annual audits
  • All accounting functions for Cayuga DME, Cayuga PT, and other future subsidiaries including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, audits, and annual budgets
  • Assistance with CMC annual informational returns and tax returns
  • Other appropriate responsibilities not noted above
