About The Position

As an Accountant at Human Touch Home Health Care, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. You will work closely with other departments to provide insights and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
  • 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budget reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Conduct audits and implement internal controls to prevent inaccuracies or fraud.
  • Prepare tax returns and assist with tax-related inquiries.
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
