About The Position

Bonneville Contracting and Technology Group is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and results-oriented Accountant to join our administrative and financial team. This position will be responsible for supporting the company's financial management by maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, complying with tax and regulatory obligations, and supporting management in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment related to construction, telecommunications, technology, and professional services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting functions, particularly in construction companies, government contractors, telecommunications, or professional services.
  • Experience using QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems is valued.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Budget management.
  • Financial analysis.
  • Tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of confidentiality in handling financial information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of all company transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and accounting account reconciliations.
  • Support payroll preparation and processing.
  • Prepare financial reports for management and external entities.
  • Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Track budgets, project costs, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain and strengthen the organization's internal controls.
