The Accountant will be responsible for general accounting duties in the Wieland Concast Mars, PA location with focus on month end entries, reconciliation, and analysis. T his role is located in Mars, PA and will be fully on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, cash application, and monitoring outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory reconciliations and assist with inventory-related accounting activities.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly financial and operational performance reports and supporting spreadsheets.
  • Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets used for financial reporting, analysis, and tracking.
  • Order and maintain office and departmental supplies while monitoring inventory levels.
  • Prepare Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for customers, vendors, and other business partners as requested.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and files, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department, including document preparation, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as assigned.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative duties as assigned.
