About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Accountant (Korean/English) to join our growing team. This position will support three businesses and play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow monitoring, bookkeeping, and process improvement initiatives across various entities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and collaborating with leadership teams to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Professional fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal).
  • Experience managing accounting functions for multiple entities or business units.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting professional services firms, accounting firms, logistics companies, or multi-entity organizations.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and HR-related accounting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting activities for three business entities and operating divisions.
  • Maintain general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions.
  • Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related reporting.
  • Support annual audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze financial performance across three businesses and provide operational insights.
  • Develop and improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and financial procedures.
  • Work closely with department managers to monitor budgets and expenses.
  • Assist leadership with special projects, financial modeling, and business analysis.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of accounting software and business systems.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders in both Korean and English.
  • Coordinate with external CPAs, payroll providers, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting regulations.
