Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Nice To Haves
- Non- Profit experience a plus.
- Knowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance cost principles a plus.
- Experience with Fund-Ez and Sage Fixed Asset a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accounting functions.
- Reconcile assigned intercompany accounts.
- Reconcile assigned account receivables.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Prepare cost report schedules and reports.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation expense.
- Prepare and post monthly entries closing entries.
- Close-out accrued balance sheet accounts.
- Manage government grants as assigned.
- Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors.
- Produce ad hoc analysis reports and projects as requested.
- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Research with regard to appropriately recording accounting transactions with document support.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
