Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for journal entries, reconciliations, and period‑end close
  • Experience working in an ERP system in a corporate accounting environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., reconciliations, schedules, data validation)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience supporting audits and preparing accounting schedules or documentation
  • Direct experience administering equity, ownership, or stock‑based programs

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned accounting areas such as accruals and prepaids and provide analysis of other balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare standard monthly and annual journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations
  • Participate in period-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met with minimal rework
  • Prepare schedules and documentation to support internal and external audits, surveys, and compliance requirements
  • Utilize ERP systems to research, analyze, and validate accounting data
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
  • Serve as a primary administrator of Foth’s employee ownership program, supporting equity‑related processes from execution through reconciliation
  • Manage ownership‑related transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
  • Maintain and administer the ownership system (e.g., Shareworks or similar equity administration platform), including data integrity and required updates
  • Support ownership‑related financial reporting, audit requests, valuations, and compliance requirements
  • Respond to ownership‑related inquiries from internal stakeholders with professionalism, clarity, and discretion
  • Manage multiple priorities independently, applying sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Communicate proactively with accounting teammates and cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Share knowledge and support continuity within the accounting team
