Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by three credit hours in auditing.
  • None. (Experience)

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates may substitute a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with thirty credit hours in Accounting and related courses, including or supplemented by three credit hours in auditing, for the required education.
  • Applicants who have met the requirements for admission to the CPA examination prior to July 1, 1974 will be considered to have met the educational requirement referenced above.

Responsibilities

  • Examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting systems, records, and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles in order to modify and maintain agency accounting systems.
  • Creating and sending out invoices that reflect the current rents. The approximate annual total of these types of invoices is $90 million.
  • Preparing and maintaining various reports and logs relating to the Accounts Receivable functions, to include but not limited to logs of monthly revenue activity reports and airline traffic reports.
  • Reconciling any differences between invoices and payments with the goal of resolving any differences in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for customer communications and ensuring customer satisfaction by working directly with customers involving other departments as necessary.
