Requirements

• Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 15 credit hours of Accounting (ACCT) course work.
• Three (3) years of professional experience directly related to the job duties and responsibilities as outlined.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budget and financial details on grants and contract proposals.
• Manage and coordinate all financial transactions to include a variety of types of funding, restricted (contracts & grants); Gifts (Foundation); Agency; I&G and unrestricted (revenue).
• Support HR Liaison on personnel matters.
• Oversee all financial disbursements and professional service contracts (Procurement).
• Represent department on business operations to all of university business offices (Restricted Accounting, Research Administration Services, Budget Office, Aggie Service Center, Purchasing and interdepartmental units).
