About The Position
The St. Louis County Department of Revenue seeks an experienced Accountant III to perform professional accounting work. Competitive Average Salary: Typical starting salary range is between $24.83 - $29.80 hourly, based on your qualifications. Requirements
- Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- At least two years of related work experience
- The work rules for the Department of Revenue require all employees, whether they reside in St. Louis County or elsewhere, to remain current in the payment of their personal and real property taxes

Responsibilities
- Reconciling accounts for three divisions.
- Assisting with budget preparation and maintenance.
- Reviewing and verifying financial documentation for compliance.
- Monitoring cash flow and requesting funds as needed.
- Supporting development and implementation of automated financial systems.
- Provide support to Accountants I and II.
- Other duties as assigned.
