About The Position

Texas Roadhouse is looking for a passionate Accountant to join their Support Center team in Louisville, KY. This role is a key player on the Accounting Team, ensuring financial accuracy, timeliness, and supporting smart business decisions. The Accountant will collaborate across departments, analyze data, and contribute to the smooth operation of the company's financial engine. This is an on-site position with a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in the office) at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (with at least 12 accounting hours)
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Nice To Haves

Experience with D365, Power BI, or Cadency

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, including accruals and reclasses for P&L and balance sheet
Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate and resolve reconciling items with a problem-solving mindset
Analyze monthly income statement fluctuations and provide insights
Partner with Support Center teams on key initiatives
Help drive process improvements and automation within accounting workflows
Stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Support audit requests by gathering and preparing documentation
Jump in on special projects that support both field operations and internal teams
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
