About The Position

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in Grafton, Wisconsin as Accountant I. This position will perform a variety of accounting functions including, but not limited to day-to-day accounting activities, recording of journal entries, account reconciliation’s, financial analysis and ensure data for month end reporting is accurate.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
At least two years of corporate accounting work in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting related activities including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Knowledge of financial accounting software, proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Responsible for various aspects (journal entries, account reconciliations) of the monthly financial close process.
Perform a variety of Accounts Payable functions.
Resolves disputes regarding accounts payable.
Accurately and promptly invoice customers and process customer credit / debit memos.
Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting information.
Prepare materials as required for internal and external auditors.
Work with other team members to improve overall reporting systems.
