About The Position
K. Hovnanian is celebrating over 65 years of quality and leadership in the home building and community development industry. We are looking for an experienced candidate to fill the role of Accountant I for a National Homebuilder. This role will support the needs of the homebuilding accounting team.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university
- At least 2 or more years of experience in an accounting department
Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting, accurate cash management, maintain accounting records, and review accounting systems in order to ensure accurate accounting information.
- Responsible for bank code set-up, journal entry preparation, balance sheet and income statement account analysis, and assistance with the preparation of the business unit budget.
